I have read many positive experiences about using ibuprofen (generic Advil)-
in doses up to 800 mg at a time- for post-dental surgery pain- along with
whatever else they give you. It is an anti-inflammatory, of course. But, it does
help with the pain- so I have read/heard. Ibuprofen seems to be quite under-
estimated at relieving pain, though…
