WOW, where to start…the same ole story, pain, then pills, worked my way up to moriphine (oral)…Went on meth and finally found subs 3 years ago. Mixed in cigs and booze in there to enjoy the highs.
Over the past 2 years quit the booze and the cigs (YIKES)…lastly decided to tackle the subs.

This forum has helped me, reading that in CAN BE DONE. I obsessed over quitting for the past 2 years and jumped off 5 days ago from 1mg. All the same symptoms stated here, pain, restlessness, yawning, sneezing. Here are some things that have helped. HOT baths, sit in the sun, heating pad, pop sickels for the hot flashes, xanax as needed (low doses).

I am toughing it out! I AM doing this! Maybe the worst is yet to come, but compared to a full opiate or meth, I am OK. I listened to an old Harry Chapin song yesterday that hit home…"Taxi"…"A smile seemed to come to her slowly, it was a sad smile just the same"…I am happy and sad, hot and cold, OK and not OK…
