Hi bunny –
Yes, Subutex is the med without the naloxone in it. It comes in a name brand as well as generic. It’s the name brand Subutex that is more expensive than suboxone. But the generic version is obviously cheaper. As long as your doctor does not write the prescription for "Subutex" and "DAW" (dispense as written), then the pharmacy can fill it with the generic.
