So i finally made it off suboxone. I have been weaning my self off over the last two months. Everything seems to be going well, expect for the fact that i have no energy. I mean i feel a lot better than u feel coming straight off OC. Honestly it is not that bad, i just am wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions of some Natural Products, something i could get at gnc, that would help me focus and have enough energy to complete school work. I would appeciate any input even if u could tell me how long this tiredness usually last after discounting subs.

Hi, slamdunc, and welcome to this wonderful forum.
I know exactly what you mean about the lack of energy that
is experienced when discontinuing subs.

(BTW, I am currently on 4 mg a day- and have been "off and on" subs for
7+ years- but mostly "on" them.)
Anyway, I also have HepC, and was VERY fatigued while I was
taking Interferon and Ribavirin one year ago. So, I told my doctor,
and she told me to make sure that I get enough of the Vitamin B complex
you can buy a bottle of this common vitamin complex in just about any store.
I still take it, and it still helps with my energy.
You won’t notice a "big lift", or anything like that-
but you *might* notice that you are less tired-
depending upon what other medications you are on,
and other contributing factors.

*Disclaimer:
Of course, I am NOT a health care professional- just another forum member;
so- please discuss all over-the-counter supplements with your physician.
(I am just sharing what has helped me.)

Now that that is out of the way, I will also share with you another
*natural* supplement that has helped with my energy:
an amino acid called L-Tyrosine– you could also substitute L-Phenylalanine.
I use two 500 mg capsules of either of these- with vitamin B6-
on an empty stomach. You can find either of these two amino acids
at GNC or another health food store, or even on-line.

Hope this helps.
