Wow, Chaotic. You really did a fantastic job.
You didn’t let them start treatment too early, which was obviously the right thing to do, since your baby is now acting fine. You acknowledged when she had some symptoms but did not overreact to them. You held your tongue and did not lose your temper and act like a mad person (that’s hard when you just had a baby and the hormones are all freaked out). That’s most likely why the doctor even cared about whether or not it had not gone well and wanted to come speak to you again and why the next NICU nurse was so much more receptive. You acted like a respectable lady who deserved to have her opinion heard, and so you eventually got the respect you deserved.
You kept your head up and stuck to your guns, and you just may have saved your baby a lot of unnecessary medical intervention. Good Job!!!!!! You should be sooooooo proud of yourself and I hope other pregnant moms on Sub read this and take the same approach.
