Hi Strugglin’,

Welcome to the forum!

Like the others have said, there is no one right way to taper off of Suboxone, but don’t let that scare you. You’re already at .5mg per day and that’s freakin’ awesome. It’s perfectly normal to be experiencing some wd. If I were you, I would stabilize at your current dose. By stabilize, I mean stay there until your wd symptoms go away, then push forward with your next drop.

The Liquid Taper thread is certainly a good one. Another good taper thread is I am S.T.U.C.K., here’s the link.

The author of the I am S.T.U.C.K. thread jumped a few months ago and experienced no acute wd’s to speak of.

Try not to let fear get to you, wd is so much a mental game and fear just exasperates the issue. I know it’s hard not to fear wd because it SUCKS so bad, but you CAN come off Suboxone with very little wd, I’ve seen it done several times now.
