First of all
I DONT smoke weed, my HUSBAND DOES
hes BIPOLAR, and hes A WAR VETERAN

so, in my opinion, and mine counts, cuz IM his WIFE,,,,, I dont think hes abusing it. He even completely stopped for three months to show his ‘support’ for ME……..and I havent liked weed since high school. after I found opiates, at 19, I was in heaven, and thats it. I would occasionally smoke pot when I was in w/ds. cuz I woulda done ANYthing to just feel better.

second,,,,,
we live in oregon.
and his cousin is a certified grower or whatever, whos regulated by the state, and even gets his electric bill paid (yea, pisses me off too) so my husband has only had to buy weed a few times. when he has, there is a despensery close here, and 4grams was $30-$45 depending on the ‘potency"
so I dunno about cali or anywhere else. I just know about what goes on in my house
his card only cost $25, with the DD214 from the military

I wasnt sure if you guys thought I had a card or what. my doc is kinda, lets say skiddesh about sub patients and weed. hes asked me a few times if i want to smoke pot, or if I would if he said it was okay, and I said no both times, becuase I dont get dopesick anymore, therefore have no use for it.

Just wanted to clear that up, not trying to piss anybody off or ANYthing like that

oh yea, I forgot to add that he tried EVERYTHING on the market for bipolar when he was first diagnosed, as well as PTSD……….
but nothing, i mean nothing, helped his mood swings, except weed. He didnt smoke when he was still enlisted, wasnt till he was going thru all this crap, and having no luck with meds, he tried it one night.
and I thank god he did. he finally got relief.
I think alota people abuse the cards too. many people here just geta card so they can sell pot. and in oregon, now they wont give you a card for ‘chronic pain’ or anxiety
only mental disorders, that have been previously diagnosed, or if you have a terminal deasise. so I think thats helping.

trying to be a dick but from the ‘tone’ of your post, you might take it the wrong way. I’m bi-polar too, but I wouldn’t stop taking my ‘meds’ only to be mentally ill ……what would that accomplish? Your husband would suffer, only to aid you in cessation of opioid abuse? sounds chaotic…and would accomplish nothing.- you stated you don’t like pot anyway….apples and oranges
