There’s really no difference between the strips and the tablets, not when it comes to the ingredients. The films dissolve much faster and are supposed to have better bioavailibility. Personally, I hated the medicinal taste of the films, so I’m still on the tablets.
Doctors have been telling patients since the films came out that the tablets are being phased out and won’t be available soon, but so far that’s just rumor. There’s been no real evidence to back that up. My doctor went ahead and put me back on the tablets without argument and never told me that the tablets wouldn’t be available in the future. So for now, both are available.
