Shane,
Your post is such a positive one that people need to read here. So many are confused about the ability to taper off Suboxone and have a great deal of fear. Now they can see it can be done by you and so many others here.
This site has so much information (tools) to help those who want off the drug. Some of us will stay on it and others feel the need to be free of all substances related to opiates. To each their own. Your story is a welcome post and one more for others to read and know it can be done.
I have not yet been able to get off it yet but know that when the time comes, it won’t be so bad. At least not as bad as a full agonist. And I may be one of those who might need it for the rest of my life. So be it if that’s the case.
Congratulations on your awesome success and you already know and stated that every day will get better and better. A year from now and you should be a 100% of the person you used to be before drugs took it away.
Please keep us posted on your progress. We want and need positive reinforcement. Great job!
