You were not being a baby! I’ve had pain and surgeries before and nothing comes close to this type of stabbing pain.
Do you have a smallish abdomen? I don’t know if it matters, but a couple curses said that people with larger abdomens do much better with lap surgery. My abdomen is (normally) pretty small, so there’s not a whole lot of room for all the gas to go. I will be splayed open before I ever have another lap surgery. I know they do colonoscopies using gas and I’m already dreading the idea of having to get one in 20+ years.
Breezy, not sure if you mentioned this, but how long were you on pain meds after your lap surgery? Wait, you were already on pain meds, so I guess that’s tough to answer, right?
