Hi Everyone!
I haven’t posted in awhile, but I see that several people are interested in an online "meeting" in chat. At one time, I was wanting to participate and put something together, but the few of us didn’t seem to be able to match times very often. Also, I got busy with face to face meetings and recovery, so between that and my family obligations and just living life again (YAEEEE!!!), I lost touch. I feel kinda bad, and I hope Queenie and the others are doing well!! I hope you guys can put something together… I sure got alot out of talking with you guys those few times.
Anyhow, I am happy to report that I am 9 months off suboxone and have remained clean and sober. As I have always said, I don’t knock suboxone – it’s a lifesaver and miracle for many (my hubby is still on sub). I never want to come across as ungrateful or not seeing the benefit to sub. Just for me, and others in the boat of wanting/needing to get off sub, it is a great relief and blessing to make it through the weening/jumping process and enjoy life!!
It wasn’t easy, but like the others who made it through, it was worth it (For ME). It can be done and I don’t think I can remember when I was so happy, clearheaded and free.
All the best to everyone on this forum… it has a special place in my heart as do all of you! Now I must excuse myself and start getting in my costume for a Halloween Bash with my family and a bunch of other awesome recovery friends! Life is good today ![]()
