Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Suboxone, has been used for pain relief for years in Europe. Recently, the U.S. has approved a Buprenorphine patch. So, yes, Suboxone can be used for pain management. In fact, there are many members of this forum who use it for pain and to treat their addiction.
