It’s a serious side-effect and IMO if it’s "TMI" to talk about it frankly on here, then where can guys talk about it? We have had partners come in here talking about their husband’s issues and them getting cosmetic surgery to try and fix the problem. We should be able to talk about addressing the actual cause as well.

In my experience, and from what I’ve heard from others, women AND men, is that once they stop taking Suboxone libido returns to normal levels – or the level it should be for their age. There’s been little if any evidence pointing to any kind of permanent damage. If anything, pretty much all side-effects people complain about from buprenorphine are reversed once people stop treatment and get a bit of recovery time. I’ve found my libido would spike when I’d stop Sub even to the point that, if I’d get any sleep in detox, I’d end up experiencing some pleasant dreams. Confused

TMI ?
