| Yes, you should be fine!! I had a c-section on Sub, and I was concerned about both the spinal and the possibility of having to be knocked out if something went wrong. The doc made it very clear to me that the Sub would have NO EFFECT on general anesthesia. It certainly had no effect on the spinal….
As for the after pain, I think you are right that you will be fine. My mom has chronic lung disease and she has to get bronchoscopies (sp.?) on a regular basis. She just gets very sleepy for a while afterward and has a sore throat. No severe pain. You’ll be fine!! |
Thank you all SO MUCH! I feel as if you guys are my best friends and I don’t even know you. I live in a small town where everybody knows me and I cannot or do not have anyone I can talk to like I can you guys on this forum. Thank you so much for the replies and encouragement.
I went back to the doctor Friday and he had checked the xrays and other tests they had done that day and said he did not see any cancer or tumors! He thinks I might have an infection in my lung and that’s why he wants to do the ct scan and the bronchoscope. Of course there could be something be I feel much better because he doesn’t feel like it is a tumor.
Thank you all for your prayers and concern…I don’t know what I would do without this forum. I can’t sleep at night and I find myself on the computer reading all the posts.
RULE— didn’t you have something done recently? …and how did that turn out??….I remember you saying you were in a lot of pain post-op….I sure hope everything is ok with you.
