this is such a sad story……….
Im glad the guy got help in the end, but holy crap it makes you think about everyone else just like him out there that cant find help.
Like breezy said, I cant believe the gov’t thinks they know more about what patients get pain meds adn which ones dont.
AND I cant believe methadone is the ‘prefered pain reliever’ seriously????
yea its great for pain, but someone with a migraine, doesnt need methadone. Im sure now that the law says its ‘preferred’ it’ll be written like vicodin was……lol
I had a high tolerance the first time I took it, and loved it. I can only imagine what a non;opiate dependant person would feel like taking it..
anyways, thanks for posting the story.
I agree with what the basic point of the law is,,,, to make rules about the over perscribing of pain meds,
but what a f-up in my opinion!!
