If it were me, I wouldn’t say I was having withdrawals. He can look at your pupils and see they aren’t dilated. In fact many of us have very small, sometimes pinpoint pupils on suboxone. So I wouldn’t recommend saying that. Besides, not telling him something is one thing; coming out and lying is different, don’t you think? It depends on how you look at recovery and that whole rigorous honesty thing. Anyway, what I would say, and you can tell him or not that you’ve taken extra, is that you feel it’s not enough (true) and you’re having bad cravings (true?) and are fearing a relapse (true?). I’d add that the whole thing is stressing me out (which again, is true) and in turn stressing the baby out – or at least you’re worried about that (still true). I just don’t see how any doctor could deny you an extra few measly milligrams a day. And personally, I’d say all that AND I’d admit to taking extra on occasion, but that’s just me.

Any way you decide to handle it, I hope you get a dose increase so you can get some relief. Take care.
