Some copay health insurance plans only cover generic drugs, while others cover all prescriptions. I wish more doctors would offer the generic version no matter the type of insurance. It seems like sometimes doctors will give you a generic only if you ask. Of course, it would be much easier to prescribe generics if more generic drugs were available.
