I’m glad Romeo posted because he has experience jumping from a fairly high dose. I would take to heart what he says, he’s been there.
And I am going to agree that jumping off Sub will make your anxiety worse, not better. You stated the doctors were tired of you and your health issues so it may be a good idea to find a new Sub doctor.
Anxiety can be treated in different ways. Therapy, short time use of an anti-anxiety drug like Xanax, anti-depressant also work very well in some cases. My wife had terrible panic attacks and anxiety issues too. Her doctor put her on Paxil and that did the trick. It may not be the treatment for you but don’t give up. There are lots of remedies to help you, it’s just finding the right one that will work.
If you are determined to get off the Suboxone I’d suggest a very slow taper. Every person is different so let your body dictate how fast you can go. Don’t make large drops and give yourself a week at least in between drops. There are plenty of past posts showing time frames for tapering. If you can’t find them I will look and post them for you.
Hang in there. The Sub is not your enemy, the anxiety is. Look at treating that first before even thinking about tapering.
Just my 2¢ and I am not a medical professional. My words are only my experience.
Hope you feel better.
