Hello, my name is Christina and I have written on here before and have gotten some great advice as well as read almost everyones posts. I am 24/25 weeks now with my due date being march 2nd was march 9th but that changed =) I have been on the subutex 8 mg a day down from 16 mg of suboxen in the beginning of my pregnancy. I switched doctors and was then put on the subutex. I have seen a neonatalist who says try to taper off and the doc who gives me the subutex tells me I can try to taper off but may be to hard and I just dont know what to do my obg dosent even talk about me being on these meds. I truly want my daughter to come out ok from all the testing i have had they say everything looks good but i am worried about when she comes out i just want her to be healthy and not have any w/d. And def dont want her to be in the nicu =( I would never forgive myself please someone give me some advice as to what I should do and if its quit what is the bestest and safest way. or maybe am i or can i get to a low enough dose to where it wont effect her? the one doc who gives me the subutex says that 8 mg is a very low dose and if i brest feed it will help?
