I was 5 years on Suboxone and am on just day 11 after the jump, and I have made one unsuccessful jump before this. I can honestly say that, like the previous poster said, water is a must. Get that water in your body and that buprenorphine out! The key ingredient to peace for me this time around, however, has been Clonidine. If you can afford it in its time-release formulation, called Kapvay, then go with that; but otherwise, regular Clonidine Hydrochloride is tried and tested for the relief of opiate withdrawals. You will need a prescription for that and it should be something your doctor can call in, as it isn’t a controlled substance. But it is NOT available over-the-counter. I tend to disagree with the previous poster’s recommendation of weed as help, simply because it would possibly bring you back into that world where it’s okay to blur other lines. But if you have the willpower, go for it. In addition to Clonidine, here’s what else I used:
Afrin for a stuffy nose
any anti-diarrhea medication (you will DEFINITELY need this)
DayQuil
Ibuprofen or Naproxen (Aleve)
a time-release multivitamin
vitamin C
a vitamin B-Complex that is also time-release
hope: you will need hope from others, hope that this is only temporary and is on a much greater scale one of the most profound and important things you could ever do for yourself

Good luck!
