It’s my opinion that if you stop the suboxone and go on full agonists, then stop the full agonists suddenly, you’ll could very well still have withdrawals. Remember, suboxone is still an opiate. Your brain/opiate receptors really don’t know the difference. Now yes, you can try to wean yourself off of the full agonists. But remember, you’re on a low dose of suboxone, so depending on how much full agonists you take, you risk "feeling" them and getting back into active addiction. Could someone dole them out to you?
Oh and regarding topamax, it’s not a pain medication. It’s for migraines and seizures and is also used off-label for weight loss, but not for pain in any way.
Also, if you do have surgery, there’s a great article here on the forum, so just let us know and I can point you in the direction of it if it turns out that you need it.
