Just because it’s illegal doesn’t mean it’s bad. Remember prohibition?? And remeber why it was abolished? because people wanted to use it, so making it illegal just created a black market for it, and that created crime. The government in effects CREATES the market for marijuana. Thats why the prices are so high, if it was legal in all the states, like it is in my state, and you could just go to the collective and but your medicine and be done with it, prices would drop by half at least. You should hear what big time growers are saying, you think they want weed to be legal? Fuck no! They are making tons of money off the stuff being illegal. You think it’s stopped anyone from useing it? No, the demand is higher then ever, and where there is demand, there will ALWAYS be supply. Some young entrapenure will see to that.
On that note, everything thats legal isn’t always good either. And that bring me backs to the alcohal example. Now why is it that alcohol, a drug that will intoxicate you far beyond even the best strain of marijuana will, causes negative health effetcs, and is very addicting(Even to the point where withdralws may kill you), is legal and socially accepted by everyone, but marijuana, that has neither of those negative traits, is viewed as a horrible thing? Think about that. It’s happening for the wrong reasons.
