First, I’m reading your updates, so thanks for them. I’m sorry that pharmacist did that to you! But luckily you did find one to attend to your needs. I guess I understand their position, but yours is a unique situation. Although I will say he’s misinformed about suboxone and roxi being "in conflict". They aren’t – not really.
You’ll get different post-op meds to take home right? Or is that what the Roxicet is for? And definitely ad a small amount of sub (how much depends on your normal dose). That can really make a difference in your pain relief.
I’ve only had a pretty minor procedure, especially in comparison to what you’re going through, so I can’t offer you any specific assistance.
Just make sure you read and completely understand that NIH (sub and acute pain) paper. You want that shit in your head to discuss with a surgeon or anesthesiologist with ease. That’s my best suggestion to you.
