And SSRI is a common type of anti-depressant and it stands for "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor". Prozac is an SSRI as are others like it. Other types are SNRI, which stands for "serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.

Serotonin Syndrome can happen when one has too much of it.
