Here in the UK they will only so rapid detoxes if someone is on more then 2mg of Subutex believe it or not.. I enquired about a rapid detox one time and was told the medicines they put you on and the sedation they put you under are only made for initial acute withdrawals… And if anybody wanted a rapid detox from 0.4 sub and under they’ll be just wasting their time as the meds and sedation will not do much because buprenorphine is such that its usually the duration and not intensity which gets to people..And rapid detoxes are only made to deal with eliminating intense withdrawals…I know someone who did this (Detox-5) and claimed to have suffered hard PAWS post-rapid detox but said the intitial withdrawals were not much but he still struggle with PAWS & depression, probably because he did his detox from 4mg of Subutex. He also tried this Low dose Naltrexone and claimed it never helped in the long run, meaning just a few days, he claimed he felt even more depressed with LDN so imagine what high doses of naltrexone can do to the endorphins.. Mind you he had a Naltrexone chip inplanted and was blaming that for the long PAWS…
