I’m willing to bet money the person who said he was "an addict 10 years ago" has never heard the term, "once an addict, always an addict…"
But I’d also bet that the guy is still addicted to SOMETHING, but he probably think his problem isn’t a problem, likely something like prescribed pain pills…he likely sees absolutely nothing wrong with that, because he gets them from a doctor, legally…
