I agree that honesty is the best policy. The doctor has to trust you in order to change your prescription, if the the doctor thinks you’re lying, well, that doesn’t do much to support your case. Most doctors will listen to your need for a more affordable version of the medicine. It’s actually an extremely common problem. You can also switch to a more affordable health insurance plan that will cover your prescriptions. Where there’s a will there’s a way and there are many options to make the medication more affordable.
