I understand you are going through a hard time with these cravings believe me I am a pain patient I get them every day no matter what drug I am on methadone or suboxone. But what works best is having a counselor to talk to about these things. You may be off Suboxone now for 4 months and that is great but at the same time that does not mean you addiction is gone. I haven’t used in 5 years coming up on 6 and I still carry my addiction with me everyday even if I am not using these things just don’t up and leave. And that’s were seeing a counselor or attending groups could be very helpful for you especially just finishing suboxone and being clean and having money is all the more reason to find help. BUT yes the addiction will always be there but now you have to learn how to deal with that and start finding way to do so.

And this is just my personal view on this situation what you choose I will support but don’t go back on Suboxone after having 4 months free of everything because of one craving it is not worth it in my eyes you worked to hard to get off it I would think so why put yourself through that again. And sorry to say that is where your active addiction comes into play first sign of trouble you want to run back to the pills. And this is not going to be the last craving you have but you cant go back on suboxone everytime because of one craving. Like I said this is where a counselor would come in so much for you. And drug counselors don’t just treat people during active addiction they also help people in life after addiction and recovery tools.
