the cops will charge you with the felony regardless. I had the same exact thing happen to me, I didnt help them out when they called days later, I just gave them my lawyers number, and a few weeks ago i went to court for the felony they charged me with, and the judge dismissed it. Now granted, i only had one sub on me when arrested(check the legal section for my post on this incident) and I also had a scrip to subs, but i had ran out when i bought the one sub i was pulled over for, but I still got off nonetheless. I WOULD GET A LAWYER ASAP. They WILL drop the felony, but you might have to do some kind of drug classes. Im from cali, so it might be different here.
