Hey painoman! Good to see another keyboardist come on board.

It sounds like you’re going through some testing stuff at the moment, but you will get through it. Regardless of whether it’s your desire to come off opioids or the Paxil.

Firstly, are you prescribed the Vicodin for pain? If not, it’s really surprising that your doctor would prescribe it to you just for the withdrawals. If you could let us know exactly what the situation is of why you were put on Vicodin etc, why you chose to taper etc.

Tapering is hard, and staying off opioids takes determination. But what sounds interesting is the Paroxetine. If you’re getting "zaps", burning limbs, those are a real telltale sign of SNRI / SSRI withdrawal. Paroxetine / Paxil / Aropax is notorious for these effects once someone stop taking it. You said that Paxil makes you feel sick. Did you stop taking it recently?

It wouldn’t be hard for someone to mistake Paxil withdrawal from opioid withdrawal. While they feel different, there’s some similarities. Taking opioids for paxil withdrawal would be useless, and could end up in relapse. Taking Paxil for opioid physical withdrawals would be useless IMO.
