| I’m also glad that you’re taking this step…To me there is only 3 ways an opiate addict stops using… Death, no money, and/or doesn’t want to live the lifestyle anymore…For me it was no money and the lifestyle was just making my depression much much worse. Even thinking back to those days just makes me sick. I’m also on Suboxone and not doing too bad. As of right now I’m on 8/2mg. tablets twice a day and also on Zoloft, Welbutrin, and Vyvanse for depression…I bullshited my pyschiatrist by saying I think I might have some ADD symptoms because with my previous experience with stimulants, they tend to help my depression and help me get motivated to make it through the day, that’s why i’m taking the Vyvanse and I’ve only been on it for about two weeks. I take it once a day as prescribed and it’s going ok i guess. But anyway I know how you feel as well as many others do, and we are here for ya. It will get better, it always does. Just stay clean for your son, i started using right after my daughter was born and a year later I knew I had to quit for her…Hang in there and good luck! |
It doesn’t matter that you’re taking Vyvanse as prescribed, because you "bullshitted" (your own words) your doctor to get it..so it just isn’t an "in good faith" prescription.
Why bother to be on Sub if you’re gonna use narcotics anyway? Why not just go to the pain clinic and stay on good opies?
It’s easy to stay motivated on a daily dose of speed!
Good luck..
